“First things first: Where will you spend eternity?
The aim of www.thebiblestudy.site is to help believers understand the Bible better – the Word of God. However, first and foremost, we hope that every visitor to this website is indeed already saved and on their way to heaven. This is the most important decision of life.
If you cannot answer the question above with full certainty, please take a few minutes to consider the following six facts concerning your life in the eyes of God. We hope to meet you in heaven!
Fact 1: #loved
God loves you! And you’re totally relevant to Him!
“For God so loved the world (you) that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” The Bible, John 3:16
“Not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” The Bible, 2 Peter 3:9
Fact 2: #guilty
However, there is a problem: He is perfect, and you are not! You know you‘re not perfect. You‘ve sinned and He can‘t tolerate that.
Or have you never lied? Never stolen? You probably have, haven’t you?
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The Bible, Romans 3:23
Fact 3: #hopeless
You can‘t help yourself. You are guilty, and you see the results in your life. A bad conscience, broken relationships, guilty feelings …
No matter how hard you try, you won’t be able to get away from it and forget the past.
“For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.” The Bible, Psalm 51:3
Fact 4: #wise
If you‘ve realised this, you’ve made a good start. Now, come to God. Admit you’re a sinner. Confess your sins to Him.
Then He will forgive you instead of having to punish you.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” The Bible, 1 John 1:
Fact 5: #acquitted
Jesus Christ, God’s son, has accepted your guilt at the cross. That’s why God can forgive you.
And when He forgives you, everything is fine: complete acquittal!
“The chastisement for our peace was upon Him.” The Bible, Isaiah 53:5
“… being justified (made righteous) freely by His grace that is in Christ Jesus.” The Bible, Romans 3:24
Fact 6: #certain
And because Jesus Christ has done it — not you — you can rely on it completely. Nobody can take that away from you.
Jesus Christ says: “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” The Bible, John 10:28
It’s true for you right now: Each person who has Jesus Christ has life!
