"Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass". (Psalms 37:5)

It is dark. The streets are deserted. A thick mist hangs between the houses. A man is walking hurriedly to the bank. He has the day's takings from a large grocery store under his arm. He is relieved when the box with the money falls into the night safe. The money is in the bank and in good hands!

We too sometimes feel restless in the hustle and bustle of life. Why is that? If we have left our worries with God, we can know that they are in good hands. Better than with any bank. We must really let go of our worries to be able to breathe and not desperately cling to them.

What would we think of a businessman who spent all night creeping around the bank to make sure his money was well looked after? We would say there was a lot of suspicion. Are we sometimes suspicious of God?

We read in Psalm 37:5: "Commit your way to the Lord [please put the money box in the machine!] trust also in him [be confident that the matter is in good hands], and he shall bring in to pass [that's His business, we don't need to think about it]".

So again: "Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in him and he shall bring it to pass".
