Living as a Witness - How?
"Jesus said to him, 'See that you tell no one, but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded as a testimony to them.'" (Matthew 8:4)

Examples of Being a Christian in Everyday Life
This principle has much to tell us about our Christian lives. If we have been healed from the "disease" of sinThe Bible carefully differentiates between sin and sins. • Sin: the evil power at work in man that causes him to engage in sinful activities (Rom 7:17, 18). God pronounced... More, we should consciously live and act in the presence of unbelievers in such a way that we are a witness to them.
Here are some examples of this changed lifestyle:
- Be kind!
- Remain humble!
- Speak with gentleness!
- Avoid vulgar language and dirty jokes!
- Refuse to lie or cheat!
- Stay out of gossip!
- Tell your coworkers or neighbors that you prayed for them!
- Read your Bible even in public!
- Talk about going to Christian meetings, Bible conferences, retreats, etc.
- In short, make it clear that you are applying heavenly wisdom to your everyday decisions!
Be there with your heart!
Motives are indeed important: Public prayers or kind behavior just for the sake of praising others will not honor the Lord. But if there is no public evidence of our gospel transformation, what does it even mean to live as a Christian?
