"Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" (Matthew 7:22-23)

“But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless” (Matthew 22:11-12)

This man was every bodyguard's or security guy's nightmare. For years, Claude Khazizian took great pleasure in smuggling himself unnoticed into political events or aristocratic festivities. All he needed was self-confidence and a good suit. Once, he had his picture taken with the president, and later, he made small talk with the Spanish princess. Another time, he attended the wedding of the Danish prince and princess. Nobody noticed him.

One of Jesus' 12 disciples put on a similar show for three years. Everyone—even his friends—thought he was one of them. No one could imagine that Judas was not a real disciple. And yet he had never had a relationship with the Lord Jesus.

The Bible warns against being a Christian just for show. There are many who call themselves Christians, go to church regularly, read the Bible, and live impeccably—and yet they have no eternal life from God. It is not enough to belong outwardly. There must be a true, genuine, real connection to Jesus Christ in the heart!

May no one have to hear the following words from the mouth of Jesus: “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless” (Matthew 22:11-12)!
