Day of God

"Day" of eternity, eternal state after time. The Day of the Lord leads into the Day of God. On the Day of the Lord, Christ will reign in righteousness. When He will have fulfilled everything for the glory of God and removed everything that opposes Him through judgment, He will hand over the kingdom to God. Then God will be recognized in His universal reign (cf. 1 Cor 15:24-28). There will be a new heaven and a new earth in which there will be righteousness, in which there will no longer be anything that opposes God (2 Pet 3:11-13).
