Discipleship

Discipleship is a commandment of the Lord Jesus for His own (Mk 2:14). In discipleship, we follow the Lord Jesus in obedience; He is our authority. It means sharing His way of rejection, in renunciation, suffering, and self-denial (Mt 16:24). It is not the "I" that is in the foreground, but the glory of God. Discipleship is the prerequisite for serving Him (Jn 12:26).
