Inspiration

By inspiration (literally: to breathe into), we understand that the Bible comes from God. It is inspired by Him word for word (1 Cor 2:13). This applies to the OT and the NT (2 Tim 3:16). God made use of holy men who the Holy Spirit drove to write down God's word (2 Pet 1:21). God's Word is therefore inerrant and has the highest authority for our lives.
