Pentecost

This name (Greek) is used twice in the New Testament and means "the fiftieth day.” This refers to the 50th day after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. This day denotes a Christian festival, the feast of Pentecost. It commemorates the sending of the Holy Spirit (see Acts 2) to the earth. This also fulfills a prefigurement from Lev 23:15-17 to the day.
