Pilgrim

Describes a person on a journey. Thus, the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, are pilgrims in the Old Testament, as they were constantly on the move and had nowhere to call home. In the New Testament sense, every born-again Christian is a pilgrim whose home is not on earth but in heaven (Phil. 3:20; Heb. 11:13-16; 1 Pet. 2:11).
