Possessed

A possessed person has a demon inside of them, which means that this evil, satanic spirit (demons are servants of Satan) controls the body and wreaks havoc and destruction. Sometimes, several demons take up residence in a body and cause even greater damage (see, e.g., Mt 12:45 and Mk 5:9). Possession can result in someone not being able to speak, see, or hear, cursing, beating, spitting, and having superhuman powers and abilities.
