Priest

The priests in the Old Testament were fully occupied with serving God. They offered the ordered sacrifices and were thus the link between the people and God. They had to be descended from the family of Aaron, which came from the tribe of Levi. All born-again Christians are priests and have access to God: "to a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices" (1 Pet 2:5, 9; Heb 10:19; Rev 1:6).
