Son of God

The term "Son of God" in the singular always refers to the Lord Jesus. On the one hand, He is the only begotten (unique) and eternal Son of God, who has no beginning and no end (John 1:18). This eternal Son is none other than God himself (John 1:1). On the other hand, the Lord Jesus is also the Son of God as a human being because He was begotten by the Holy Spirit (Ps 2:7; Mt 1:20).
