Son of Man

"Son of Man" is a designation for our Lord Jesus Christ. In many Scriptures, it means that He really became man through His birth (Gal 4:4). Like every human being, He had spirit, soul, and body. In some places, however, "Son of Man" is also a title that He bears as the one whom God has appointed to rule over all created things (Ps 8:5-7).
