Sonship

It is a special blessing for us to be sons of God (Gal 3:26). God destined us for this before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:5). Sonship (adoption) is a position into which we have been brought by the Holy Spirit (Gal 4:6). Sons of God are characterized by the fact that they are led by the Spirit (Rom 8:14). This gives them insight into the Father's thoughts and enables them to represent Him worthily on earth.
