Ten Commandments

The "Ten Commandments" were given by God to the people of Israel. This happened after the exodus from Egypt through Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5). These commandments contain God's truth about how man should behave. However, natural man does not have the power to enforce the law. He must recognize that he is a sinner (Rom 3:20). As the epistle to the Galatians clearly states, Christians do not have to the keep the law (as it was only given to the Jewish people).
