Works

Another word for deeds or actions. God's works are perfect (Gen 1:31), men's can be good works (Matt 5:16) or dead (Heb 6:1). On the basis of his works, unbelieving man will be judged before God (Rev 12:20), whereas believers form the fine linen of the bride through their good works (Rev 19:8). Finally, it is important that one is only saved by faith, but not by works (Eph 2:8.9).
