Worship

In both Hebrew and Greek, the word "worship" can also be translated as "prostrate / bow down" (Ps 95:6). It is more than praise and thanksgiving because, in worship, honor and admiration are brought to God for who he is in himself. As Christians, we may worship in spirit in truth. Because the curtain has been torn, we have access to the Father through the Son. Spiritual worship does not consist of forms and ceremonies and carnal religiosity. Still, it arises in the hearts of God's children who have been brought into direct proximity to God the Father through the Son. (cf. John 4:24)
